The CEO of a Bengaluru-based AI company, Suchana Seth (39), has been remanded to six days of police custody for the alleged murder of her four-year-old son at a service apartment in Candolim, North Goa.

The motive remains unknown, as the investigation is in its initial stages. Suchana Seth, a native of West Bengal settled in Bengaluru, was arrested in Chitradurga, Karnataka, en route to Bengaluru.

Her husband, presently in Indonesia, has been informed about the incident. The accused mentioned undergoing divorce proceedings, a detail yet to be verified. The crime was discovered when housekeeping staff found bloodstains in the apartment.

The woman misled the police, claiming her son was in Margao, but the address turned out to be fake. The body was found in luggage during a police check in Karnataka. The strained relationship with her husband is considered a motive.
